• Properly done, the  swage and wire will exceeded 85% of the MBL of the wire!  Please see destruction test results for 4.8mm wire. 1,188kg (pdf) N.B. The 4.8mm swage slipped a little under the MBL of the wire, we therefore strongly suggest that any high load be double swaged or use a thicker wire and a larger swage. i.e. 6.4mm!
